Module 1.0: Introduction to Edmodo

The goal of this module is to train teachers how to create accounts, and to learn how to navigate the layout of Edmodo blocks and tools. You will learn the basics of the type of accounts offered and the roles, create groups for students and colleagues to join, identify the different layout blocks that will assist with navigation, and learn how to create a variety of different postings that will benefit your students.

Goals and Outcomes
During this module, students will learn to:
- Create an Edmodo Account
- Create a group for class, parent or colleague access.
- Utilize features for layout blocks including the navigation ribbon, communities, groups, notifications, postings and management settings.
- Create postings for announcements, notes, alerts, assignments, quizzes and polls.
