Organizing Library Folders
Becoming Organized
Once you have multiple files and web links in your Library, you will probably want to organize them based on subject, topic, or groups. To do so, you can use Library Folders. You will then add the files and links that you have collected in your Library and assign them to a folder. If you choose, you can always create the folder first and then add the content as you go.
These folders can then be assigned and shared to one or multiple groups for easy access. Once you have your folders in place, they will not be accessible though until you assign them to a group. You can activate access to a group or deactivate at any time as well. This can be helpful in cases where you have a new class/group that you only want to allow access to the first unit materials. You can leave the other folders unchecked until you are ready to share there. Once groups have access, they can then view and download files as needed or open and save the web links in a new window.
